Procedure for Apply APEDA Registration

You can apply for the registration online. You need to enter your personal details in the form and submit it. After submitting a duly filled form, you will get an acknowledgement letter from APEDA within 2 working days of submission of your application with all necessary documents attached with it.

You can also apply offline if you are unable to apply online due to any reason or if you have not received any acknowledgement letter from APEDA yet about your application for registration as food business owner (FBO). In this case, send written request through post or courier service along with all required documents along with fee payment receipt issued by MHA/NHA/NDMA etc., which should be returned back after verification of authenticity at their respective offices/departments against original photocopies sent along with fee payment receipt

Documents Required for APEDA Registration

To start a food business, you will need to register under APEDA. Here are some documents that are required for this registration:

  • Copy of PAN Card
  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of Address Proof (In case you don’t have any address proof, then provide address only in case where your name is mentioned as an owner or partner) * Copy of Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID)
